There will be changes in Employment Act wef 1-1-2009.
Some significant changes as follows:-
(1) Coverage now extend to employee with salary up to S$2000 (changing from S$1600)
(2) coverage now extend to "confidential staff", confidential staff shall only applied to Senior Management only
(3) Cap at overtime for workman at S$4500
